A constituent recently contacted my office after experiencing delays in the delivery of her new passport, which had been sent to the wrong address. With upcoming travel plans, she urgently needed a resolution. My casework team worked with the National Passport Center (NPC) to have the original passport invalidated and a new one issued. The NPC coordinated with DHL to ensure the new passport was delivered at no additional cost. Thanks to these efforts, the passport arrived in time for her trip.
A constituent contacted my office after her two young children were tragically killed in an accident. The children's father, who was outside the United States, was unable to attend the funeral without assistance. My casework team worked with the State Department to ensure the father could travel to the U.S. and be with his family during this incredibly difficult time.
