Rep. Garbarino Appointed to Important House Small Business Committee

January 26, 2021

WASHINGTON – Representative Andrew Garbarino on Tuesday was selected to serve on the House Committee on Small Business.

“As a third-generation small business owner, it is an honor to be appointed to serve on the House Small Business Committee with Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemyer,” said Rep. Garbarino. “Small businesses are the backbone of our nation’s economy and the livelihood of so many hardworking Long Islanders, too many of whom have felt the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Garbarino added, “America’s small businesses must be allowed to safely reopen, and as a member of the House Small Business Committee, I am dedicated to delivering real results for small businesses back home on Main Street.”

Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) said, “I am excited to welcome Congressman Garbarino as a recommended new member of the House Committee on Small Business as I know he will be essential in defending Main Street from extensive regulations while ensuring responsible government assistance for our nation’s small businesses.” Luetkemeyer added, “As Lead Republican, I look forward to working alongside all of the members on this committee and fighting for America’s small businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators.”
