Garbarino Helps Secure Response From SBA

An Islip resident applied for an increase on his SBA EIDL loan, but his request was declined citing the fact that the IRS could not locate his 2019 tax transcript which had in fact been correctly filed. Following the rejection of his application, the SBA became unresponsive. Within 48 hours of my office becoming involved, SBA resumed communication with the constituent and the process of resolving the IRS discrepancy is moving forward.
