Garbarino Helps Constituent Secure Veteran Tax Exemption

A constituent reached out to my office on behalf of her 95 year old mother who is a surviving spouse of a veteran. She was requesting a copy of her late husbands DD214 military service records to apply for a veteran’s exemption on property taxes with the Town of Babylon. My team was able to get the appropriate paperwork to the Town of Babylon and her mom received the tax exemption.
