Garbarino Assists Veteran with Military Records and Medals

A local veteran contacted my office for help obtaining a corrected DD215 form and long-delayed service medals. My casework team initiated a congressional inquiry with the Department of the Navy and stayed engaged with Navy officials until a resolution was reached. As a result of this outreach, the Navy issued the corrected paperwork and confirmed shipment of the veteran’s medals, including those recognizing marksmanship, Cold War service, and Vietnam-era deployment. I was proud to assist and ensure this veteran received the recognition he earned.
