Garbarino Assists Constituent with Amended Tax Returns

A constituent contacted my office for assistance with amended tax returns that had been denied by the IRS due to insufficient supporting documentation. After the denials, the constituent filed formal appeals for each tax year. My office intervened by reaching out to the Taxpayer Advocate Service, which helped expedite communication with the IRS Appeals department. As a result, the returns were successfully released, and the constituent received the refunds owed.
