Garbarino Aids 9/11 First Responder

A retired police officer who became disabled due to his involvement in the 9/11 rescue and recovery efforts filed an amended claim with the September 11 Victims Compensation Fund (VCF). After waiting far beyond the stated timeframe for resolution, he reached out to my office for assistance. My casework team intervened to ensure his claim was reviewed, and this 9/11 hero received the compensation he was owed.
